RD Valentine's Contest - Final Results

Hello everyone. SnowHawk here filling in for Axel bringing you the final results of this years Valentine's Contest.

This one was a lot of fun and all of the entry's were tons of fun to read. Many of them blowing the cuteness meter sky high. Then again what else do you expect from a Valentine's Day contest. All of them were enjoyable and in general this has just been a great contest from the start with a good number of entries. Thanks to everyone who participated.

At any rate the votes are in and it's ultimately time to see who won. Once again the prizes for the contest are:

My this is quite a twist. Well ultimately the final decision on this one is going to have to be made by a higher power than I. And by that I mean the main man doing the prize for 3rd place. Mr. TSEstrada. So dude. Which one should win 3rd in your opinion?

"In one entry, you got the shipping of two couples whose loving gaze wonderfully shows the bond between them. In another, you've got the tale of a sweet, little Raichu making a certain day special for a certain someone. But all in all, I've chosen Azailiathefox's "Flowers for a flower" for 3rd place for combining romance with a little hullabaloo in his story to give it the "randomness" that makes Random Doom so special."

So there you have it, close competition but in the end get's the 3rd place's prize.

Either way though both entries are amazing. I really loved Flowers for a Flower. It was so sweet seeing Ross make that flower garden for Saria only to have Napoleon destroy it and then have Ross and Saria rebuild it.

And the Contest Entry picture was adorable. Napoleon and Cotton just looked so sweet in it.

I cannot begin to tell you wonderful this story made me feel. It was both dark and beautiful at the same time and the ending was just sublime. I would highly recommend it if you haven't read it yet.

What can I say about this entry. It was just perfect in so many ways. Simple but also beautiful and adorable at the same time. Also it made a very nice allusion to one of TamarinFrog's earlier works: random-doom-fanclub.deviantart… Easily one of my favorites. So cute.
